In 2009, for the first time in human history, the majority of us live in an urban setting rather than rural. With this shift comes consequences. Research shows that, despite advances in technology, we are becoming disconnected from nature and each other. Why is this? This blog explores the blurring point between nature and urban life and aims to cultivate new appreciation for and insight into our relationship with the everyday, with the world, and with each other.

Chicago Folk and Roots Festival
Taking place on the north side of the city. For a $10 donation Folk and Roots offered a beautiful mix of people and music with a relaxed vib in the air.
