WWOZ is one of the finest radio stations around. Residing in New Orleans, a dedicated group of volunteer DJs dish up music from jazz to Cajun to bluegrass and much more without any commercials. Twice a year they hold a fundraiser to keep the not-for-profit station going. In this 11 day drive bands and guests visit the station to help raise money. Food is donated by local restaurants to keep the volunteers fueled. Pledgers call in from around the world to show their love and support, many stating that "this is the best radio station in the nation!"

Ryan, thank you for your beautiful photographs and for gifting us with your craft. It was so amazing to watch you at work...you were so passionate about taking photos. You explored every perspective known to man; you shot from tabletops, chairs, ladders, the floor.... In the end, you inspired many of us. You reminded us how we should be living life. Thank you my friend.
